Hi Fishes,
Does Deloitte USI have any cool down period, if you apply and do not get any response from the company? I had previously applied in a role, but didn't hear back from them. So, I'm planning to try to apply via referral this time and I'm wondering if I should use the same e-mail ID or a different one! Deloitte USI

Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

First be very clear on the "why" you want to move to pm (you will get asked in interviews).
Try enrolling in experiential pm bootcamps to get hands on product experience (experience building a product is better than just theory).
Network on LinkedIn.
ADPlist is another good mentorship site.
Don't need to do MBA or ms computer science is what I hear (though they are helpful but have a certain opportunity cost).
Try job shadowing pm internally if you can.
Tough question. I would think your plan is strongly dependant on the field that you want to enter. Aerospace vs commercial plastics for example may require different skill sets for effective product management.

OP have you taken on any stretch projects that show business/line ownership? It could make sense to transition to an area within your org first to build some transferable skills then to product management. What type of org do you currently work at?
