I am currently interviewing for EYP Singapore - keen to specialise in healthcare in the long-term. Would love to hear feedback or views from the community on how is the healthcare team like in EYP SG, the management style of the partners, team culture and cohesiveness… thanks in advance!

[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

I am reaching out to you all and am looking forward to break into Investment Banking from Consulting. Applied to Goldman Sachs via a referral but my resume is stuck after HireVue. Talked to the VO who referred me and he said Goldman doesn’t hire in Q4. If that’s true and still need to be in GS, can someone forward my resume directly to the team? Their career portal sucks. TIA Goldman Sachs PS: I promise a dinner in a dance place in NY after I get hired as a sign of my gratitude 🙈

If you’re coming from US or any other mature EY business in Europe you will be taken aback by the difference in EYP in other markets. EY Singapore is very small comparatively and you won’t have the sector depth to specialise in just one sector or area of expertise . EY Singapore partners are very fiscally and socially conservative and very cost conscious. It is a very strict law abiding society that culturally does not appreciate foreign opinions or constructive criticism of its government. In your first year just keep your opinions to yourself and don’t challenge the status quo. Familiarise yourself with the local laws and be prepared to give up personal privacy. Don’t freak out… the benefits are extremely low crime rate, hardly any income tax, zero tax on investment earnings, an incredibly well run and efficient city, innovative urban design, incredibly clean environment, world class standard of healthcare, fantastic food, lots of international events and cultural things to get involved in. The heart of south east Asia with so many amazing places to holiday close by. Bali, Vietnam, Malaysia, China, Japan Thailand. You will love the Asia lifestyle

Would appreciate any insights into the culture and management style of EYP - particularly on the healthcare practice if any direct experience there!
