Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon

Meta technical solutions consultant interview prep - can someone let me know if they have gone through the technical rounds for Technical Solutions Consultant role? Can you share what to prepare for since it’s not a data science type of role so most likely not hard level MySQL questions. Any specific types of queries that I should learn? Thanks!

Personally, I agree with above. I think we're conditioned to think you have to be absolutely perfect to apply for a job, but the truth is, we learn as we go. So I would follow that approach recommended of doing your research and building your skillset and just start applying - you'd be surprised at the opps that come up!
Thank you so much for your response, will definitely follow your suggestion.
I think the two biggest challenges are gonna be keeping up with the technology and communicating effectively across the organization. Both of these will come with time though and it sounds like you’re already taking steps to develop your skills which is great.
Thank you so much for your response, yeah I forgot to mention I am into Data Analytics so I am in the technology but yeah wanna move to tech industries. Will definitely implement your suggestions.
Thank you once again!
You're on the right track. Talking to those already in the role and connecting is the best training. Might also check out a Udemy course if you like structure
Thank you so much for your response, will definitely check.
My suggestion is just to network. Find people in the jobs you want. Read their blogs, ask them questions, follow their YouTube videos. Application of tech isn't as important as knowing what the tech available is. Get to know your toolbox. And check in with friends who have already done it to check your progress against.
Also, if you're an absolute master at your job, it'll likely be boring. Get your skills up to a minimum threshold and start putting yourself out there. A lot of places will teach you the rest.
