I am currently working at CIBC Mellon as a Senior Fund Accountant. Junior for about 1 year and Senior for about 1 year. I am interested in analyst type positions, but that is mainly due to my lack of experience in any other professional fields/options. Does anyone have any suggestions for positions that Fund Accountants can pivot into? I am really unsure of what my career goals are aside from surviving.

I come from a non-technical background, currently working as a project manager + associate product manager (20% project situation) at a SaaS company. Pivoting away from Sales: I’ve been in sales positions for 15 years, and I’m just exhausted by the role (disputing commissions, arguing about deals, all of it). I got hired as a BA, at an advisory firm. Im new to the industry and new to the role. I see that every BA is different in different companies. Right now I’m building out SOP’S for our different departments, as well working with clients guiding them through our pipeline.
