I am currently working in IAM for the past year but more in a BA role than technical. I like the field and cyber in general but would like to be more marketable and not pigeon holed into this. I have also started noticing that to be considered serious in IAM I would need more experience/ hands on experience being a technical resource. So to put it short, I am scared of career growth & prospects as a 30 year old. Would appreciate advice on career development from this point forward.

masters in analytics & related part-time work ->
3 yoe DS in tier 2 tech company ops, accidental tech lead ->
burnt out/bored, quit, was lazy doing part time CS prereq classes for a year ->
breadth oriented masters in CS (finishing in spring)

Targeting PM roles cause people work comes easy to me (vs applied science/MLE coding) and ops cost center budgets suck. Doing formal CS just cause wanted to learn, fill in gaps.

I have practiced for five years and make $121k as an employee of a financial services company. As the only attorney, I oversee all statewide collections efforts, from demand letter to garnishment, with a case volume of nearly 7k new cases per year, of which the majority I end up litigating. I receive only a $1k bonus per year. Is my compensation fair? My last insurance defense gig was $75k.

On changing my status from F1 to H1B I got I797B approval ( i.e consular processing)

2) should I ask my lawyer to file an amendment and change the application to COS from consular processing ?

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly).
