I am currently working in JP Morgan as Senior Data Engineer and on road to be promoted to VP in 2027 Jan , current CTC is 45.5 fixed + 4.5 with 13 Yoe. I have an offer from Wells for VP role with 58 as fixed . Can someone suggest if moving to Wells from JP is worth it for money and role ? Also how is the work culture and company policy of Wells ? Currently in JP its 3 days office (soon it will be 5 days) but no such restriction on hours , usually people spend 4-5 hours in office .

I have a total of 8.1 yrs of development experience in Java, Bigdata and Hadoop (new to it).
I got an offer from Capgemini for Manager/C2 designation with a CTC of 24 LPA. I just wanted to know the roles and responsibilities at this designation.
Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?

Does anyone use a brokerage account instead of a checking account? Mine offers a fee free debit/atm card and free checks which I'd rarely use but starting to question whether it is worth maintaining my "big bank" checking account that requires a $1500 minimum balance.
