I am extremely disappointed by HR’s failure to handle complaints regarding the Travel Shopping Team Manager. This manager has created a hostile work environment by taking credit for work he didn’t do and dumping the execution on his staff.

Also, he consistently takes credit for projects initiated by other teams, delegating the actual execution to subordinates. While he was promoted last year based on this "success," the team members who put in the actual effort received no recognition.

I am about to finish a 6 month bootcamp and I am a single mum. Is it realistic for me to find a remote working job or working in the office during term time (school hours) and working from home during the holidays/evenings. If this is possible some possible companies for me to try looking for work would be great. Many thanks.

Recent lateral junior associate in brand new practice where I'm the only associate. I'm probably going to bill 1,500 hours max this year due to being very slow and taking time off for a delayed honeymoon which I disclosed during my interview process. I have been told my work product is good, I don't turn anything down, I participate in non-billable work, I'm responsive and I always let people know I'm available to help.
