I am getting offered contract-based work as a Field Project Engineer, also known as a Contract Deployment Engineer, at Amazon Robotics. Although I will be working in an Amazon warehouse, my contract is with another company, not with Amazon Robotics. This other company basically hires people for Amazon Robotics. The contract is a year-long, and I have to travel each week for about 85% of the time.
The pay is 35/hr, and they also pay for food, transportation, and residence. Does this sound legit?

I renegotiated my start date and it’s different from the date I signed on the offer letter. Do I need to request a revised offer letter or is the email thread with the recruiter sufficient. By the way, my background check is already in progress.

It’s open enrollment season, and health insurance premiums are way up at my company (up 37% to $600/month for a family). Anyone else see big increases this year?

Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it. I think the company is just trying to save money they overspent else where)

Stupid Question- We have been thinking for IVF and trying to understand with this process, is there any difference in the health and life of the child as compared to a child born without IVF. I did ask this with our doctor and he said casually its all same. This is not to question any doctor but just to really understand what is going to be different with the kid.
