I am having an offer to move to EY from KPMG. however they are reluctant to offer good package. They kept a cap of 30% on last drawn salary. Is EY worth the risk ? Have a high chance of promotion this year in KPMG.

I am trying to resign from my employer and my offical notice period is of 3 months as per the agreement. The agreement also states that the employment can be terminated by either party with 3 months of notice or monthly gross salary in lieu of notice period.

But my HR says that they can't release me before 3 months and when i told them that its not fair practice then they told me to file a legal case against company.

Can someone suggest what should i do? What choices i am left with?
