I am interested in trying to get into IBM or Oracle. I'm interested in those companies because I am interested in how these large companies that is restrictive of promotions and good compensations stay innovative. They value share holders more than the employees who create the value.

Its gotta be a complete circus inside those corporations, anyone have any sights on IBM and Oracle.

For the last three years I have seen my practice only promote white guys to senior managers even though a few of the main partners are Indians. There are quite a few good Indian managers who were trying to get promoted but none of them made it for last three years. Not sure if this is intentional or coincidental.

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.
