Sounds about right for a specialized group eg ITS, M&A or an NTS team
M1 is around 212k for vhcol m&a tax (ny/sf) so 250k for sm1 seems reasonable, maybe even a little low (if we’re talking about m&a tax)

Tier 1 is top 5-10%
Depends on LoS. SM1 in S& with 240k base. i think M&A tax is around 210k for SM1 so external hire could get close.
