I have two offers : a) IB first year analyst at a BB firm 50k base; b) 70k consultant role at a life science consultancy - is it stupid to go for the IB ? For reference, the 20K extra translates into 1K after tax monthly income

I joined KPMG a while ago from federal consulting. Federal consulting had super good work life balance but I’ve been working at KPMG strategy for a while now. The hours are wild, my managers expect perfection, and I feel like it’s all meaningless. Does anyone else feel like this, how have you dealt with it, and is it like this once you go into industry?

From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.
