I’m a sloth at this moment
Dedicate at least a couple of hours each day to working or researching info on a case. Then, take a break.
If you have the option to physically go into the office, that helps me. I also like to get up at 4/4:30, get some work done, then have the rest of the day to enjoy the break.
If you need the rest, take it and deal with the work when you return. Needed rest makes you more productive in the long run.
If you must (or want to) keep up, get up, do a quick workout, bill no more than an hour or two, and enjoy the rest of the day.
Don’t let your feelings dictate. Evaluate real needs and make decisions from there.

I bank on it. My daily agenda says: “I get to go home after I’ve done (XYZ)”
I have found that I just can’t get myself to work if it’s not my home setup or office set up… have a portable monitor but it’s still so difficult to work on tiny screen at someone’s kitchen table or I just can’t get over that block… back at my home work station and finally feel like I can be productive
We are supposed to get over a foot of snow tonight and tomorrow, so I am hoping work gets cancelled. I live somewhere that gets lots of snow, so we don't usually get snow days.
I should add that I also work in education law, so our clients are on break right now.
Just get the stomach flu and then you are forced to take time off as you can’t think and projectile vomit multiple times a day.
