Hi Fishes,
Many peoples saying product based company will pay more than service based company.
But I think nowadays service based companies are paying more than services based.
Actually Tiaa global business services is product based company but not even ready to match the offer. Before interview they are ready to give package but once interview get cleared they will not ready to pay package based on your expectation.

Absolutely would send a follow up note. As someone who has done it recently and the worst (no response) has happened, it really wasn’t that bad. I think I would have regretted not even trying to ask, especially because I thought the interview went really well too. As long as you think you did everything you could to better yourself and/or your interview skills for the next go around, that’s all that matters
Go for it. Worst thing they could do is not respond
you might also leave the proverbial door open for the future - them seeking you out to say goodbye is a nice positive indicator! (Eg “please keep in touch if you feel like I’d be a fit for any roles you come across in the future! I really enjoyed x y z about our conversation, and know your team will (heartfelt well-wishing here)”)
I ran into the AD at an industry event this weekend, and greeted each other amicably. He even found me when he was leaving to say goodbye.
I'm bummed I didn't get an offer, as I thought I was a great fit, but I didn't take their decision personally. I would like to learn how I could improve, however.
Would it be out of line for me to email him asking what I could do to get better?
