I applied for an account executive job late last night, I am extremely qualified for this role and it's in the same industry that I am working in now. I'm actually working for one of their competitors. I woke up this morning to an automated email which stated they will not be moving forward with my candidacy due to better applicants.

I was born in Canada but have a foreign sounding name, I go by a nickname which is easier to pronounce. Could that be the reason why they aren't moving forward?

How long does it take post the technical interview rounds to hear back from the recruiter?

Been 2 weeks since the final interview...and nothing has happened yet, not even a reference check. Is it a bad sign? Bay Area

I’m currently interviewing with a few top 10 firms and a couple top 100 firms for a mostly remote experienced associate/new senior role. Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? I’m struggling to figure out that out because I used to gauge it on the feeling I got while in their office during interviews. Any suggestions would be helpful :)

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

I got an offer from another firm for 24lpa but they have shared the offer letter of DOJ after 2 months and asked me to negotiate my notice period or look for buyout. What should I do in this case? Should I connect with my current hr to negotiate? Cause I tried convincing the new hr to share the offer letter of DOJ after 3 months but she is not in the favour of that.
