Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

As someone who is involved in interviewing, we are often encouraged to give generic feedback on why we went another way. It's a litigious world out there and no one needs fuel.
I can see how it could add fuel to a fire. Thanks for the feedback!
It's impossible to know what went wrong, and it's entirely possible nothing went wrong. Remember, the interview process is a competition, and there will only be one winner. So it may not be that you did something wrong, but someone else just edged you out. It happens. And all you can do is resolve that next time around you'll be the person who edges out everyone else.
I appreciate your perspective, and I understand that hiring decisions can be competitive. It’s just disappointing when transparency is lacking, especially after strong feedback throughout the process. While I have to accept that another candidate may have edged me out, clearer communication from companies would go a long way in improving the candidate experience. (if anyone out there from that level reads this, :) )
You may not have done anything wrong. That is how the job market is right now. There are so many reasons this could have happened. Don't beat yourself up and move on to the next opportunity, you've got this.
Thank you - I am bummed, but moving forward is the only way to go.
I had the same experience last month with a biotech real state company. Unfortunately we will never know because they can’t disclose. But it makes me think if it was somehow due to our personal appearance, limitations, and other factors that are better known in person.
