Anyone want to grab a drink? 🏳️🌈
(I have recently joined IQVIA bangalore. I will receive my first month salary on 25th this month. Payroll portal got just created for me. So, I opened.)
In my reports -> My current CTC section. It has details of Current annual & Monthly AGS. My question is what is AGS? It is showing half of my CTC. Should I raise this to HR or it is just something else. And where can we get the actual CTC reflection? Pls help. Thanks in advance.
Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.

Take their offer and look for a new job
Just take their offer and look for a new job. The economy isn’t the greatest ATM with really tough job market .
No criticism, but if you need 10% it would been better to ask for 15% if you had the documentation to show that’s what your role worth in the marketplace.
You should look for a new job. 4.5% is regular cost of living, and even that needs to be adjusted with all the economic turbulence the country is experiencing.
Always ask for more than you want.
In this job market I would learn the lesson above and take their offer.
You can either start looking for a new job, or ask for a bigger raise next time to leave some negotiation room.
Have you gotten other increases previously? Or is this your first? Was it for a promotion? Many companies are giving no increases, so in the scheme of things, while not enough. Like others say, take it and look. It is a very tough market, so you may need to bide your time. Breathe deeply; don't quit. Better days (and the raise you deserve) will come.
In this economy, I'd take any raise. My company never even considers raises and I don't get how that is acceptable.
