I attended a face-to-face interview at Cognizant Chennai on 8th November.
After the interview, I was informed that I am selected, and that someone from the team would contact me for the next steps.

However, I haven’t received any update yet.
Is anyone else facing a similar situation?
What should be the next step—should I wait or follow up again with HR?

Is there anyone on here who’s switched sides - from defense to plaintiff - and can speak to their experience / general things to think about? I’ve just moved and gone on/going through multiple interview rounds with a big defense firm and a plaintiffs firm doing high verdict litigation (established enough to pay pretty good associate salaries). Not trying to jinx myself before any offers, but I’ve really liked the people at both firms and want to take my time to consider all angles (cont)

What's the interview timeline for APM programs at tech firms? Apps are out right now, so does anyone have a general idea of when firms conduct interviews and make offers?

I recently joined Swiss Re at 30lpa, pretty good manager and work culture. Got a hike of 10% in 3 months without me asking for it. But got an offer from another company which I was interviewing for before joining here and they are offering a base of 45lpa. Now I am unsure how I convey this to my manager coz I want to stay here but at the same time I am salivating over this new offer and wish I get similar numbers here. Is it worth raising a discussion? If yes what would be a subtle way to do so?

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes. i have an offer of X amount from jp morgan and x+ 3.5L from Mphasis, my joining is within a week, I asked counter offer from HR, she said we will look if there is any backup candidate to fill that position then we will not do counter and it will impact my DOJ also since offer approval process takes around 2 weeks. should i wait or should i join on my current doj. and also if i will wait will they give me another doj on my current compenstion or they will revoke the offer past doj?
