I believe that learning empathy begins with truly listening and seeking to understand others beyond surface-level interactions. In leadership and sales, showing empathy means recognizing a customer's or team member's concerns and responding with genuine care rather than just offering solutions. When people feel heard and valued, their trust deepens, leading to stronger relationships and meaningful connections. Have you seen empathy lately in the workplace?

Yes everyday

I never considered that empathy was something I needed to learn. It’s just always something I’ve had. I think most normal people have empathy and are able to express it.

Facebook Ads after iOS 14 changes.

I'll share my experience and urge you to share yours:

Since iOS 14 changes, Facebook ads isn't the same anymore. Why?

A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.

What's your experience? Let's all learn.

Hi I am in process of getting offer from Netherlands and Germany for Devops Engineer. The salary quoted by NL is €65k (amsterdam) and Germany is €70k(munich).

Currently I have 30L package in India having 11 years of experience.

Is it worth to go? Which one to go?
Is the quoted salary a good one for a couple?

I am planning to negotiate salary for extra €10-15k as the cost of living is high over there.

Please suggest..

Btw, the person is in a “Talent Acquisition” position at the company.

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

I hate working on commission. I am a naturally shy person and approaching guests in our store is intimidating enough, it's even worse when some of my more socially savvy coworkers notice me trying to strike up a conversation with someone and they come in and literally steal my client from me.

Im starting a new job but still employed somewhere else. I was trying to be open about staying at BOTH places. My current job won’t let me be part time because they don’t allow “set schedules”. Yet I am one of the only reliable and loyal employees in the department, and currently working a set schedule. So why will they not let me continue a set schedule but with different hours? This place is more focused on strict policies and not actually trying to work their employees and being flexible.

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

I'm worried that if I speak up, she'll make my life even harder. I don't want to lose my job because of this—do you guys have any advice?
