Same price? Business.
Direct , a lot can go wrong with layovers.
When traveling internationally, direct is always my first choice.
Frankly, that applies to all flights. There would have to be a significant price discrepancy for me to choose a layover over a direct.
Slightly more comfortable seat
Direct. Unless you have unlimited vacation time, you’re wasting so much time just to sit in a slightly better seat. 10 hours really isn’t that long, watch 2 movies and take a nap and it’s over.
Premium economy is a waste of money in my book, the seats and soft product aren’t enough to justify the cost differential to standard economy. If time was a factor I’d go direct in economy and save the money to spend at your destination. If time less a factor and you have a good deal on business - I would go that route.
That’s a tough one but if I had to choose, I’d go with the British Airways business class with a layover in London. Even though the total flight time is longer, the ability to fully lie flat, enjoy better meals, and arrive feeling genuinely rested makes a big difference especially for international travel. Plus, a short stop in London is never a bad idea. Sometimes, comfort and the chance to enjoy the journey outweigh just saving a few hours.
Business class with a stop!! If you have the extra time that is.. but enjoying the flight sounds nice esp a lay flat seat
Is the layover at night or during the day?
I would take the business class w/ long layovers then. You’ve slept well on the plane and can day trip on a city. But this can be miserable / tiring too

I really like the afternoon tea service at the BA lounges in Heathrow :)
Heathrow blows imo. Definitely would avoid.
Business >>>> PE
Also depends what’s equipment the second leg is on. If it’s trash Euro business for 4-5 hours, I’d go direct. If it’s <3 hours or on a wide body, then easy answer
Business.
Heathrow is a dumpster fire and I avoid if I can - take the direct flight.

The BA leg in Europe or wherever you’re going might end up being like a delta premium economy setting (blocked middle seat but like regular economy with slightly better food). Just FYI. I’d probably pick business but I hate the extra time and layovers and Heathrow can take awhile to connect thru.
Depends on the plane. I flew Delta PE on a new A330-900 neo and it was totally fine. BA business is generally lacking too
