I can’t stand the culture of working a lot and thinking that is cool to brag about. What’s worse is expecting others to do the same. Coworkers are not my “work family”. I don’t even consider them friends. It’s transactional to me now. Not sure if it will be better in industry but I’m hoping that is the case. ✌️ing out of consulting as soon as I can. Respectfully

Hello all, for those working in an agency. I wanted to see what your typical client workload is? I’ve been in my role for about a year but the workload has changed dramatically without hiring help.

Can you please share:
- the number of accounts you manage
- how many support staff you have on those accounts
- how many active pitches you send per month for those clients on average

I recently received an offer from a ID private firm (1900 billable hours) in the area for about 40k more than my currently salary. I was going to accept, but now I’m having second thoughts about leaving a secure gov job with good benefits. Really not sure what to do.

If I leave Deloitte after one full year post MBA will I still get to keep the first installment of tuition or will I need to return it if I don’t stay the full two years?

Several years ago a gay male acquaintance said he didn't date Black guys. It made me bristle but I was not surprised. Now he's married to one. I feel in a way vindicated every time I see his loving social media posts with his Black husband of like 5 years or so now.

How did he get over his apparent aversion to Black men enough to go and marry one? Where would he be if he hadn't had a change of heart?
