Hi Everyone I have joined FIS one month back only, I am just Okay with my current project. I see here everybody is leaving FIS and telling it's not good. I have changed Infosys within 7 months. Now, I don't want to switch this early. Can somebody tell me about the good points, pros in FIS. I really want to change my mindset so that I feel happy here and can give back something to organization.FIS Global

Buy a herman miller and call it a day.
There's really only one - the Aeron
If you can find a DWR outlet near you, they often have Herman Miller chairs for 50% off. Also look on Craigslist for offices clearing out stuff, pretty easy to find.
Yep I finally got a used Eames this year and it was worth it!
I would say it’s the 14 hour workdays, OP, but I’ve been there before. Gave up and worked from my bed.
Get a standing desk riser for your computer. This way you can stand for part of the day and sit when you want. Humans aren’t meant to sit that long.
Herman Miller
I wish I got my Herman Miller earlier in the pandemic.
Spend the money. It’s an investment in your health.
as someone who found the perfect office chair by asking for recommendations for an ergonomic appropriate for my limitations (health issues + very petite stature) onthis sub, recommend the the r/officechairs subreddit

Any options that don’t scream boring office chair? (Also preferably not $2K???)

the aeron isn’t really a boring office chair. it’s a beautiful piece of furniture that is extremely functional. if you look at the studios of many other creatives, designers, architects, and animators over the past few decades, they’ve sat in herman miller chairs.
i’d much rather sit in an aeron adjusted to my body than a “cutesy” chair from wayfair that’ll fall apart in 2 years.
i share a desk with my bf (9” taller) and we both use the aeron comfortably. i might choose a different chair if we didn’t need it to work for both of us
fwiw i got my aeron on craigslist for $300 during an office’s downsizing sale, the sticker on it says it’s from 2014, but works like a dream
I hear you, my home office just also doubles as a guest room so anything that doesn’t look like a black plastic wheely chair is a big plus (though not a totally dealbreaker). Awesome you got such a good deal for yours!
