I checked into a hotel and the shower had clearly not been cleaned. There are dirty footprints and several hairs in the shower. I’ve called down twice to ask to have it cleaned in the last 8 hours and no one has come. Is it passive aggressive to go down and just ask for something to clean it with at this point.

Can anyone recommend a car service from LGA to Manhattan? Need to arrange pickup for an elderly relative who uses a walker and can’t wait in a taxi line. I’ve used Carmel in the past but had a bad experience with them recently.

Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?

How many points? Caribbean Marriott Cat 3 property, 5 nights. They have an issue with the boiler so no hot water and shower stops in between. Ice cold showers for 4 days in a row 🥶. Hotel phones don’t work because network is down and only local channels work on tv. Last night they had a huge leak in the lobby. They kept knocking stuff all night to fix it and then left a large floor fan running. I understand it’s tough reopening so don’t want to push, plus they upgraded our room at check in.

How should an independent consultant go about joining a firm? I was recruited boutique firm (only subcontractors) which paid well and allowed me to build a small external client base.
