Stockholm syndrome is real. It will take months before you realize how bad it is. I even called the old firm to please take me back....now 3 years out I can say F Them and what they put me through.
Devil you know.....resist the urge!
Completely normal. Been there. It’ll get better
I miss my old firm a lot, despite now working much better hours, for much better pay, with much better people! I remember the highs of my old job, not so much the lows.
Change is hard even if the prospects seem good. There is always a little uncertainty.
Without any offer line up?
No going to RSM
It depends on whether your expectations for your new job at RSM are reasonable. I would anticipate that you will find experiences or people at your old job that you will miss. And that’s ok. Hopefully the reasons for both leaving your old firm and accepting a position at RSM were well considered and the decisions will help you in your career path.
