I currently work as a Senior 3 at Deloitte within the audit and assurance practice. I received an offer from EY to join their Financial Accounting Advisory Group (FAAS) and they offered me $28K more than what I’m making now with a $5K sign on bonus. Is a transfer from Audit to FAAS worth it? I also asked group PIC and others if I could stay at Deloitte and transfer to their advisory group instead and am getting a message that they don’t want to do that.

Hello all. My company just went through an acquisition and the company did some restructuring of job titles. When they did this we were all advised the company would be making sure our jobs pay aligned with the national average.
My issue with this is my job title went from a Technical Support Supervisor to a Customer Success Team Lead. I have voiced my concerns with management but have been advised job titles are semantics. In my eyes this is a demotion, and will affect how much my job is worth.

Working with no budgets in any team. Partners indirectly encourage you to eat up hours. End of year it’ll hit my util even tho im 150% utilized. Getting sick of this nonsense.

When is the best time to leave and go to another big4? I am at PwC and I knew the reputation they had and Some people said It may not be for me because of it. Ive been here a year and I feel as there right. My busy season is starting and I want to leave (not just because of my team) but as some of you may know getting along with the people you work with is a big part of wanting to stay at your job. I want to try to quit end of December and hoping to start a new position February.
