I definitely didn't purposefully get myself into a job where I work 50+ hours a week, but here we are. It's absolutely not sustainable, and now that I'm wanting to start a family and have a life, I'm trying to get out like everyone else. But finding an accounting job that pays well and offers a good wlb is like a needle in a haystack! Or am I just not looking in the right places? Who knows...what have y'all experiences been like?

Governmental accounting is what you want to look into if you want that good 40hr week with all holidays off.

Does your company conducts a proper UX research in a user centric way?

Did you join as a Product/UX UI designer and were told that they do UX design research, but later came to know that they just focus on UI part only?

Please mention the name of companies you know of, who invest in product design research.

This may help a lot of people who are starting their career in this field.

Interesting all the noise about these PPT, my take:

The pandemic took all the upside of an IB analyst life (client meetings in person, fancy trips, suit up, worshiped at networking events) and left all the juniors with the downside (long hours, monkey-like type of job, aggressive work environment).

Not that the complaints are not sort of legitimate but you may need to revise the decision-making process that led you to accept a return offer. Specially if you were looking for less hours.
