Anyone take SHRM? How many hours did you study?
Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

You just have to fly on a revenue ticket, use miles, or buy something using their CC or e shopping portal every 18 months to extend the life of your miles. Not hard
Hell American won’t even honor refund vouchers that expire, and those are real dollars that I’ve given them
Any point activity will extend the expiration date
Pretty easy to extend the expiration date if you are still flying
Can you donate miles to Make A Wish or some other charity? I’ve donated plenty of Delta miles over the years as I’ll never use them all.
If you just use some of them..the rest gets extended...they aren’t telling you to use ALL your pints but you do need to use some of them
Take that dream trip you have been waiting to. Sponsor your family's travel. Sell them here for cash. Transfer to a partner site. Take me on your next trip to Hawaii. Pay for your friends travel and they can pay you back. There are quite a few options !
Op, I don’t know what you mean by “toll” but what I mean is simply buying a $20 item from their online site at least once a year will keep your points alive for another year.
Toll = taking some action so as to extend. Like, tolling a statute of limitations. Sorry, legal term.

How do people really not know that you only have to buy one flight to extend that expiration
@kpmg: it's probably entirely possible that some people are brand new to Consulting, flying a lot, and points system. Yes I realize I have three hundred thousand points. Those are all from last year. Clearly, I've been busy.
