"yo! if anyone is going to bring my analyst to tears it's gonna be me. Ya heard??"
Then flip your chair on the way out
@A2 - Based on what my analyst told me, I would’ve been in tears too.
@A1 - I’m thinking something along those lines. If the goal was to coach then that goal was not achieved. I’m thinking the lead needs some coaching on how to coach.
OP You need to bring this up to your manager and that prick’s manager. If you have great rapport with your analyst and that prick’s got a team of his/her own, I don’t see why he/she has to step on your toes. All this effort to mess with someone else’s business makes me question how great of a lead he/she should be. Make sure he/she gets a good slap on the wrist for that.
This is one professions where kids get power too soon and that gets to their heads. Must bee trippy when you think you know all the answers, get paid to speak eloquently and can thus nit pick others. :/
What did the lead say?!?
You gotta make sure he knows that he's your bitch! Hands off!
Just call him out, ask him what he said. Analyst might be too sensitive if coaching brings them to tears
Sounds like the lead needs coaching
OP That lead sounds like a terrible one, but don’t confront him/her. His team must be so happy 🙃
Agreed what did the lead say
Having your team’s back is literally your job, and the value of your team knowing that you do is hard to overstate. Tell the other team lead if they make your team cry you make them cry.
