I feel like my interpersonal skills have gone down the drain since Covid/remote work and am struggling to build relationships in this hybrid/remote world. Therapy hasn’t helped me with actually improving on my skills. Any suggestions on how to get better at it? If coaching is the key, any tips on how to find a good coach (vs therapy)? I do think this is hindering my ability to succeed and move up. I get work done, but I feel like Im so robotic.

Compile a list of questions, talking points, etc that you can use with anyone, anytime. Create a task in your daily to do list to use 3-5 of them with coworkers, acquaintances, strangers, new people you meet, etc. Add a reminder to the task to tell yourself to smile, nod, throw in some uh-huhs, oohs, etc when the other person is talking.
Fake it if need be until it becomes a habit and eventually normal / second nature.
As someone on the spectrum, I have to always force myself to do normal things, checklists and tasks ensure I'm successful with interactions that require interpersonal skills.

Negotiation in new offer: I’m moving from fully remote to fully in office (with chance of hybrid later) offer for associate director in quality in pharma for 170k base, 18% bonus and 75k equity. Has anyone had roommates who got sick with Covid and they managed to not catch it from them? If so, what precautions did you take? We have a good relationship and so far he’s been staying in his room and using a mask whenever he needs to use the restroom or grab water from the kitchen. Hi Everyone,
1.I had two offers one is with Cognizant with 11.55LPA fixed + 45,000 variable pay. I was offered L1 position(designation - Associate).
- Only day shifts(no rotational weekoff's) + I get afternoon shift allowance around 5k per month.
-As per the Manager mention it's mostly WFH we need to come to office at least one month in every 6months(duration).

2.HCL offered L2 position with 10LPA(Around 1.5 Variable pay is included)
-No shift allowance
-Rotational shifts including night

Sooo my nanny fell asleep holding the baby. My husband and I work from home. So, he walked in, saw them and put the baby in the crib.

I was wondering if anyone in this group is or knows about groups to support attorneys who are/have been suspended and how to handle it with life. Frankly the state bar isn't a good resource and it's starting to impact my career in not practicing the law. I've been working for a non attorney job in my company for years and was recently told my suspension means I'd never get it. I think I have work trauma not sure how it’s clouding my ability to make decisions. I’ve had unstable work after being laid off from a company 3 years ago. I thought I worked out a plan to get to a stable place but my job is proving to be unstable yet again. Why can thanksgiving and Christmas be such harder days? I had a lovely day and am lucky enough that my latest bout of anxiety ended (more like mostly dissipated) about two months ago. I haven’t had high levels of depression in a while and I almost NEVER cry even when I’m depressed. Yet, I ended my day in tears today. Is this normal? I have so many blessings in life at the moment compared to other during such a horrible times bf really am appreciative. Is it guilt because others are suffering?

How do I get better with frustration with family (even though warranted)? Therapy?

Has anyone experienced difficulties with speech/thinking through taking anti-depressants or from suffering with long term depression? I first started noticing difficulties in articulating my thoughts at university and my career in consulting has only made this more prominent. I feel embarrassed, really depressed and incompetent because of this. This is one of the greatest anxieties I have regarding my performance and I find it is really effecting my development.
