Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.

Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

I don't have as much experience as you but I believe in learning the theory and fundamentals really well. Those won't change. There is so much happening in machine learning and deep learning, how do you plan on keeping up?
You won't always be up to date, but you can make a good effort. It'll make you an absolute pleasure to work with, and you'll inevitably be a power player on any team you're on.
That said, I don't think it'll help you in the job market itself, and that's how the best raises come about. All you need to have as "fancy" approaches are one or two you can explain to a layperson. If even that. And experience in a relevant stack, which doesn't really make sense to diversify if your particular one is one of the popular ones. E.g. AWS/Azure, python, spark.
