I feel like there is such a stigma with my associates taking time off for work. One of my colleagues who has rarely taken any time off this year, let alone sick time, has been horribly sick this week and I kept trying to encourage her to take off and rest.

Even though we’re remote, it can still be terribly taxing sitting in meetings all day while sick. Does anyone else experience this with their associates? Like, take the time off! lol

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
