If your feet and back are hurting, it could be that you just need to tone up a little. Try taking a walk every day for a month and see if that makes a difference. It's possible just some light exercise like that can get you moving enough to provide a little muscle tone and you'll feel better. Your legs may ache if you start walking regularly, but just power through that. I had gotten too sedentary a few years ago and starting a walking program really helped me a lot.

That's a good idea... not sure why I didn't think of that! I do walk around the school a lot, but I don't take a dedicated walk around the neighborhood like I should.
Yoga! It strengthens muscles and increases flexibility. It worked for me!

I have never done yoga before! Is there a way to get into it for beginners that you would recommend?
Focusing on my core and stretching were big for me. Everyone is different and I definitely recommended trying some different things out. I exactly used to think that too! I’m on my feet all day. That should be more than enough activity!? But focusing on some other areas fitness wise helped.

Glad to know I am not the only one who has thought that! I will look up some core exercises, thank you!
Tai Chi works wonders!
It's very calming and focus driven. I love that it is a soft marshal art, and you can learn a little self-defense from it. It's wonderful to improve balance as well.
Thank you for sharing this!
It’s so tough when we're on your feet all day! I’d suggest mixing in some stretching or low-impact exercises, like yoga or swimming, to strengthen your back and feet without adding more strain. Maybe try a foot roller or insoles for extra support too. Taking breaks and stretching regularly can help a lot too!!

I honestly forgot that swimming was a thing, haha! I used to swim in high school and loved it. Thank you for reminding me. And yes, I always forget to stretch!
I meditate. I just had my blood test taken, and I go overboard with iron. So get that blood test done.
Get some Good Feet brand arch supports if you have one of their stores near you. They will measure your arches. They will keep your hips, knees, and feet aligned.
