I find myself at a crossroads and would greatly appreciate your wisdom and advice. At 25 years old, I am fortunate to have possessed several years of substantial business and sales experience, but I have no medical background. That said, I am torn between two potential avenues, taking a leap of faith and securing an expensive loan to fund my education (Medical Sales College/Academy), or harnessing my existing network and connections to pave the way for advancement. What would you do?

I would concentrate on emerging MedTech within medical sales. Our company has seen explosive growth due to AI pairing within the medical segment.

Hi! I'm a US citizen currently doing my MBA in the US. Looking to immigrate to Canada possibly in a few years. I'm hoping to get a tech job (PM or strategy) after I graduate next year. Would my best bet be to take an offer with a big tech company that has offices in Canada, then transfer when the time comes?

Know this is a long shot, but if I’m counseled out of one MBB, what are the chances I could get an equivalent job at another? And if not another MBB, thinking that a T2 or B4 could be possible? I’m not even sure I want to stay in consulting, but also feel like I didn’t get a fair shot at it

Any advice on a first year trying to transition from family law to in-house? I always thought family law was my path, and used to enjoy it, but it’s not the direction I want to head in anymore. I don’t think I even want to continue with any litigation work. I’m having a hard time finding firms that are hiring entry level associate positions that don’t require at least 3+ years experience in-house. Should I start at a business law firm to get experience working with corporations first?

Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. FAANG offer is slightly higher (though both are a 50+% bump on my current comp). Both would have me reset to entry level. Which one should I take?

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?

My friend completely berated me, short of calling me a bad mom already, saying “what is she going to do all day? Don’t you want to bond with your child?”. I’m so upset by this.
