Non stop- the more layovers the more times you will get delayed or end up stuck in some horrible town.
If you decide to fly to the West Coast from the East Coast thru Europe or Asia, definitely recommend a layover. It will take you about 24 hours to get there. Otherwise, always do non-stop for work.
Non-stop, no question. The connection on the way out isn't the worst but depending on when you head back east any disruption could leave you stranded for an extra night.
A1 I didn't know you could do red eyes from east to west coast, I've been doing it all wrong
Nonstop...it will be long enough to fly first class by most expense policies and you can get 1/4 of the way to lifetime 1K...
Mgrs and above over 3.5 hours only
I'm going with the ATL layover if seattle. It's one of the longest segments (ATL to sea) and you'll be able to sleep on that one. Getting delayed in the south for weather isn't very common anyway. But a Sunday red eye from lga to sea is maybe 5 hrs? Your night is shot already, may as well give yourself the option of perhaps more sleep. You have a year so give it a shot once. If SF, Non stop - there's no fix for that one.
Definitely non stop.
Currently doing west to east and I always fly nonstop if I can. The planes tend to be way nicer for transcontinental so you get more legroom and can rent movies and such. Business class are lay flats in and out of NYC too
Non stop
@S& PwC allows first class for domestic travel? Daymn...
Currently doing PIT-SEA , there are zero nonstops and it sucks. Taking two flights going west isn't too bad, but 100% go with nonstop for the redeye back to the east coast.
Always nonstop
