1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I need a magic spell to make employers stop asking community managers to design, manage ads and create strategies. As you read, a CM is in charge of your COMMUNITY. They're should not be doing the work of 4 people.

Moderators/managers for virtual communities actually have a pretty difficult job because the rules for posting have to be interpreted, there are very few hard and fast absolutes in this profession

What prompted you to do a complete community overhaul? Did it pay off?

I’ve started a new job and though they have a community, it has been stagnant for a long time. Would you face the change directly with a “we’re back!” style post, or just increase the activity without acknowledging the absence?
