I’m currently at the Irvine office, tax senior WLB is pretty decent. This year has been a bit tough with the merger acquired in November of ‘20 by CLA but the people in the office are pretty great as well for the most part. DM if there’s anything I can do help or any other questions you may have.
Do you plan on being in public long term?

If the goal is industry, I would 100% do EY for a year. The exit ops should be better, just tell them exactly the kind of work you want (tell - don't ask what they can get you) - you have all the bargaining chips now before you on board. I also wouldn't be asking about WLB, since I think you'd only need a year to be able to pivot out, suck it up.
That’s such a low salary for LA
@cliftonlarsonallen 2 I am a experienced staff being bumped to a senior position
If you work at those two office. Can you give me your personal opinion about the office environment and the team.
Also EY I am considered a senior while at CLA I am consider a experienced Staff
I work at the Glendora office. Transferred here about a month ago from Minneapolis. Started in Audit and am currently in their transactions team. In terms of culture, I’ve liked everyone I’ve worked with. Managers and Principals have all been friendly and I have yet to be made to feel like crap from anyone, although YMMV. I’m also non exempt right now. I am definitely not having the same negative experience with PA as most people seem to have, but again, YMMV
Thank you for letting me know your opinion. I hope I make the correct decision.
forgot to put the title for CLA. I am coming in as a experience staff at CLA
