I got a warning email about AmEx personal use mis-use. They were honest mistakes that I made while on my first trip. Should I write back and admit that or ignore since it is a semi-generic email? Cont

Ignore. Those emails are auto generated if you have any expenses that get flagged. I've received them for buying team snacks at a grocery store. No biggie

like

Can confirm. I too have gotten them for legitimate & mistake expenses. Not a huge deal if it isn't a reoccurring theme.

like

Don't worry if auto generated from USI. Just don't do it any more to stay off their radar. If it came from your counselor or practice leadership or your practice's talent, it's been escalated.

like

Just want to be careful what I put in writing even if it was an innocent mistake

Phew- ok, thanks! I will admit that one expense was def a res flag, but I marked it as personal and paid it off with my own funds right away. I had a layover at an int'l airport and my personal credit card wasn't working. I bought something that I would have bought with per diem anyways

Ok, cool, so it won't be held against me if I don't reply and it is prob worse to reply and put in writing that I admit to violating a compliance issue (even if it was an honest mistake and I was given bad advice from a manager)?

I join tcs by changing my profile and my previous exp was in 5 yr pre-sales.
I am giving my best in work but still escalations are raised against me by client.
My husband is also in tcs he is moving to onsite in Jan and my travel is also planned mid next year.
I am giving 12hour daily in my job to adjust in new profile. And affecting my health now.
Shall I quit the job and move with my husband with on dependant visa? Or i shall continue to get pressurized and wait for my onsite?
Plz suggest.

Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?

I’ve been approved for a transfer to the AUS office. Early 30s couple, no kids, small dog. Wife will work for the state but doesn’t have an office assigned yet. Looking for a SFH (that isn’t soullessly modern) in the 600-700k range that will suit our interests: walk to a grocery store, maybe a restaurant or two, commute to work in <30 min. Where should we look?

How are you guys thinking about booking appointments for 1st time H1B stamping? Every time I open the site, there are no slots available for 2022. I’m sure majority of you have faced the same. Also, heard that some people have reached out to agents and got their booking done via them. Is that even a safe option? At this point of time, having being waiting for appointments for months, I wonder if there’s any other option ?

If an employee mentions something disparaging or accusatory about their manager during an exit interview, how would you handle? What happens if what the employee said is slanderous and a “he said/she said” situation? I.e. employee claimed the manager made a disparaging remark about an item of clothing being worn by someone in accordance with their beliefs. If you opt to share the feedback with the manager, would the manager have a legal case against the company or former employee?
