M very confused which to join.

Some says join Infosys for better WLB and onsite.
Some says who knows after joining Infy I may be tagged to the worst project and no WLB, so better to join Deloitte (atleast money will come guaranteed)

Please suggest.

MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Anything else that people have negotiated during their exit? I'd be leaving a large amount of bonus on the table to leave before the end of the year.

Got laid off in tech corp dev making 250-300 all in. Have an offer to join a fairly new family office investment team in PE buyouts but will be a fairly significant cash pay cut vs what I was making in tech corp dev. First couple times drafting ancillary docs—is it normal to not get everything/feel like I have no idea if I got stuff right. Or is the expectation that the docs be drafted 100% in executable form.

I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?
