I am switching my career into cybersecurity (Left my last job to prepare - Yea I know was a stupid decision), Got my security+ cert and google cybersecurity, been practicing in TryHackMe as well along with Home Lab (Blue team). I am targeting SOC L1, Threat Intelligence or any junior level cybersecurity roles. I have been applying for last one months but getting not responses or few rejection mails. What am I doing wrong ?

I recently had an interview with BNY for an Analyst role located in DE. The interview went well and I was informed by the recruiter that the team was interested. They asked if I was willing to relocate immediately, and I told him that my decision would be best made if I see an offer. I have not yet received a follow up after this(coming on two weeks) so I know that I've been ghosted. My question is, was I wrong to ask to see the offer before making a decision?

One of the company asked if i could join as early as in 1.5/2 months where I have 3 months NP and haven't put papers yet .. i asked one of my senior in my team about this who's already resigning...and she has told about this to the entire team 😶. I realise it's my mistake asking her :p
Now that I'm not hearing back from the company which I gave interview and my environment at current project is a mess atm...Should I just put papers or bear with it till I fine another one..??

With that being said I told her that I would complete my certificate by the summer around the time she would make partner.
