I have a boneheaded question I’m pretty sure I know the answer to. My partner can’t use my Hilton Honors account for an upcoming stay he is going to book, right? He doesn’t need my discount or anything - was just hoping that he could get my diamond benefits.

You can book a room and add him as an additional guest. That way he can use the benefits. The reservation will be in your name

Done this countless times with no issue. Mobile check in makes it very simple.

Got a verbal offer for a job that I want. The offer is pretty good too, more in line with the work I want to do, 40% raise in base salary, and other benefits are roughly the same. Waiting on the official offer, to come on Monday. The problem is, Stockholm syndrome is real, I keep feeling bad for leaving my team as busy season is kicking off. What are ways to deal with this “guilt”?

Hi guys, I know this has probably been asked multiple times but need a fresh wind of advice. Shall I switch from pre tax to post tax/Roth contribution for reminder of the year? Not sure what’s the benefits are of each. If I anticipate my income to go up, shall I max Roth now?

Just got a big raise (50%+) starting July 1st that is going to move me out of income limits for direct Roth IRA contributions (prior to raise was under the limit) even with maxed pretax 401k and HSA - however I am already halfway through contributions ($3000). What options do I have to address these excess contributions?

As a first generation college graduate, first one to land a job in Corp. I’m 25 and I feel like there is SO much I still don’t know. Any good book recommendations/youtubers/podcasts that helps navigate this?

My general understanding is vitamins are not proven to change basically anything unless you have a real deficiency and are best obtained through diet. Is there anything else that has proven benefits? Advise working with a coworker who doesn't "answer the question directly": I just joined a new company and I am starting to work with a coworker but I feel like he tends to deflect my questions all the time and he often gives a vague/BS answer. FOR EXAMPLE, I stepped in reviewing the list of deliverables needed for the project, I provided my input but instead of discussing the actual context, he would just gave me a bunch of historical background information. How do I "cut to the chase"?

In a rapidly growing practice, and perhaps 2 years from (non-equity) “partnership”. I like my team and the work I do, but I’ve only ever been a consultant and am tempted to jump to industry to try it out. Interviewing for a Fortune 20 company and applying to others. Maybe FAANG. Let’s say I’m 60% driven by comp, 40% driven by impact. Am I crazy for looking to leave? Should I just continue to ride this one-way train?

Do any of you have best practices, tips or resources in doing this specifically for tech talent?
