I have a contract AE who has inflated his title on LinkedIn and his resume (Account Director) while applying for new jobs. Found out through backchannel contacts at a few agencies. Want to address it with him but also feel I should leave it alone so he can get out of my firm. I’m now wondering if he inflated his resume for me.

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using.
