I have a final HR round of interview for a Product Manager at JP Morgan, based in the UK. I'm seeing a wide range of salaries on levels fyi and glassdoor, Can anyone give me an idea of what salary I should be negotiating for, for a product manager role at either Senior Associate or a VP seniority level? I'm not sure if I get an offer, which seniority level it will be at, as they said levelling will be decided as part of the interview process.

When I negotiated my comp, all my discussions were around me being a junior and I only accepted my comp for that reason (would not have accepted if I was step above junior since it was low). Negotiations happened with HR, but my offer letter and documents never mention junior (but I have proof from HR saying I am a junior). With product design questions, I struggle to identify user groups. Once I do everything starts flowing and I’m confident. But the initial identification of user groups is something I find challenging. What’s your go-to way of doing this? For example, the question “design a podcasting app for truck drivers.” What types of truck drivers can I select so that I can prioritize a user group to focus on and begin identification of pain points and solutions?
