I have about 7 years of experience in utility but struggling to find a secure job. Went to a few bartending classes to expand my skill set. Improved my resume but struggling to find a full time job. Seeing the same jobs reject me also seeing them repost the same job I’ve applied to weeks/months ago. Am I doing something wrong?

It sounds frustrating, but it’s not uncommon! It could be worth tailoring your resume to each job more specifically, highlighting skills they’re looking for. If you haven’t already, try reaching out to connections to try and get referrals at each of the places you're applying to. Sometimes, it’s about networking more than applying cold.

I have and my husband have been editing my resume and he works as a manager for a hotel

I had 21 as fixed and 3 variable. Good salary for my experience. But then came covid and now I'm at 48 fixed salary.
Thanks to covid I was able to achieve this salary at just 7 yoe. When I joined the industry my manager at 10+ experience was earning 10-12 lakhs.
Things have changed so much after covid

Hi all 👋 does anyone have any recommendations for career switchers trying to land entry-level digital marketing or social media coordinator roles?

The biggest challenge I’m finding right now is that I don’t have many of the hard skills required (photoshop, illustrator, Google analytics) 📊📈.

I would really prefer a smaller marketing agency where I can wear many hats and learn the ropes from scratch. Thanks in advance 😁
