I have an offer that I have accepted from Amazon. I can book a temporary accommodation for 45 days as per the policy - and was told that it should be a 3 star hotel, and not beyond.
My real question is - there are different types of rooms in the 3 star hotel I’m looking at. Does it mean that I can book the most expensive type of room, provided it’s a 3 star ?

Amazons excessive interviews are an awful candidate experience. Why do they think this will help them win top talent in this competitive environment? Especially with their public cultural issues…? Lots of great paying companies without having to take a day off from work to interview! It’s overkill

Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?
