Hey Guys,
I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

Sounds like what I went through with Shopify…
Yes I was asked to do this a couple of times in the last few weeks
But…. The case study… will surely be something that is in your portfolio? I don’t understand the company’s thinking there. Is it like google’s design exercise where they give you a prompt? Either way,it was a huge turn off when I was interviewing myself, an I’d never put a candidate through that. I guess the thinking is ‘we want someone willing to put in the extra effort’ but for me it always sounded like ‘we want you to spend a week doing something we won’t pay you for, for a job you might not get, and we’ll never make the effort to tell you why’.
My case study was a presentation of how I solved a big problem at my current job. I focused on the problem, context, steps I took to solve it and the outcomes and positive impact that came about due to my actions. They left it open to me to choose what to present. It was difficult but I chose to focus on the areas I thought would be most closely aligned to the job I was interviewing for. I was successful in getting the job offer in the end, but I’m sure a lot has to do with who is doing the interview and what they think is important.
