I have only 6 months of experience working in tcs. And I have total of 7 years of total working experience. I'm really interested to work in tcs but not in my current project. I asked for release and they are not ready as they asked me to work for atleast 5 years in this project. So I'm planning to switch to another company. If I get an offer, will tcs consider my problem by changing the project and match my offered salary?

Does Pennsylvania typically refund all the state taxes you pay? Every state I’ve worked at refunds taxes to non residents but I had a short project in PA and they refuse to refund the taxes. Is this normal?

I may have made a mistake. Early this year I was supposed to do something for a partner. Low-risk stuff, but three total steps. First step took a lot of waiting around for the state to finalize. State finally finalized it end of June. But during all that time, I completely switched my practice group and I had forgotten about this. This randomly came up today, and partner said she will call client for clarification. I haven’t worked with this group for months.

How to make a leap from UI/UX into product design? What skills should a PD have? I have 5 YOE and I still feel like a junior. I have a good eye for visual design, but I'm a bit scared of the business strategy, analytics and testing part. Where do I start to learn those skills? I’ve been interviewing with Google since July. Passed the first interview but the team I was matched with ended up hiring someone else. Recruiter told me that she will let me know if any other opportunities arise as I’m still in the running and haven’t been rejected. I am struggling to find a job in UX, I received my Master's in UX Design from Kent State University last year with a 4.0 GPA but that doesn't seem to matter.
