I have been a chiropractor for many years, and I am looking to get out of it. I enjoy being in healthcare and have experience of running an entire clinic by myself. However, I get turned down for everything I apply for (administrative). Any suggestions on what a chiro can do besides chiro?

Have you thought about branching out on your own and opening something of your own. An alternative pain clinic would be awesome.

We have them here and they saved my career. Through that clinic I got chiropractic care, massage, acupuncture, physical therapy. I had an accident and sustained a brachial plexus injury and seeking help through PCP, neurology, orthopedics were all suggesting more narcotics and muscle relaxers that didn't fix the problem and while they helped the pain I couldn't think or work any better on them.

I found that clinic and they saved my career. If you're tried of being hand on but not finding anything otherwise...maybe you could open something like I had here. I ♥️ them and am thankful for the improvement.

What titles are you currently applying for? I woudl see if you can find an office manager job and I would think your experience would be enough that you could get a job like that. You would be really great at managing a chiropractic office.

Maybe clinical research. All types of positions that require healthcare experience.

Thanks for all responses. I left out the part that I am 50 yrs old :/
I have applied for several practice management and research positions to no avail. I have owned my own practices in the past, and I really don’t want to do that again because it’s all marketing and social media driven now.

I've been an individual contributor for 4 years in Tech, have 8 years of experience total. I'm finding it difficult to make the management transition despite having management experience, performing beyond expectations, and having a genuine passion for enablement and development.

I'd appreciate any success stories or pointers you can offer in regards to this transition.

I'm thinking of moving from large cap tech to large cap consultancy firm to help build the resume and round out my experience. I enjoy and do well in licensing, but I'm fairly young in my career (<6 years) and received a great offer to make the move.

Big fan of the org and team I'll be joining as well.

Thanks!!

Any EU attorneys who went for an LL. M. in international commercial law (or other) in Europe?

If so have you found it "worth" the year of your time? I am currently working at a firm that specializes mostly on commercial law and has a lot of foreign clients. The other would mean taking a year off work and pursuing the LL. M, Thanks for help
