I would venture to say it isn't worth it. Besides the fact that many states may have policies that grandfather you in as a paralegal, you also have infinitely more to offer based on your years of service than what would be taught in courses.

I agree. I did get a degree 15 years ago. I applied almost none of it to my job (fell into personal injury litigation and been doing it since). It may be more applicable for things like bankruptcy or probate though. With 30 years under your belt, there is very little you will learn in your specific area of law. If you are wanting to change your skill set for a new area of the field, it might be worth auditing a class at your local college.
