I have been asking for release for the last one year. We have final appraisal coming up, and I heard there is no salary hike for lateral employees. If I strictly ask for release during appraisal cycle, will they release me with low rating or will they put me on PIP?

How about employee like us who just started in this mainframe tech . Where will we end up if you stay in this.
Many of onsite leads tells that move of it as they are migrating larger part of it to new platforms but BU heads says it is going to stay for a long long time don't get panicked.

🐠- My parents have been trying to get B-1 visa appointment for few months to visit me to extend support during/after child birth. Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I was contacted my a recruiter at EY about a Staff Consultant role. They would like to have a 30min call with me. What should I expect? I want to be as prepared as possible.

First day of 30mg vyvanse today. Had a rush of energy and hyperfocus (too much so) about 2-4 hours in, but had a complete crash 5hrs after taking the pill (just a wave of fatigue, felt very good after a quick 15min nap actually) and not sure if it had any effect after. Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. Appreciate any advice!
