I have been in Management for over 20 years. I accepted a position as APM in a company that wants to present themselves as a small family owned company but they are not. My boss was a micro-manager and put me and my staff down constantly. I complained to HR after she told me I make too much money for the 3rd time. I had no help from HR and a month later I was on a PIP with and 40-days to improve one stipulation was to answer all emails in 2 hours. I received 200-300 emails a day.

Does everyone have that expectation to reply in 2 hours? If they fire you will your successor need to do the same? That’s a question a lawyer might ask…

Crushed my final two interviews today. I will hear back sometime next week for a verbal offer for a Tech Solutions Consultant on the xWS team. Leaning towards an L4 but maybe they give L5 if the interview feedback was as good as I thought it went. Any thoughts on how I should negotiate base and equity? Maybe ask for sign on too?

From 15th November will TCS employee need to report to "ODC Location"? Kindly suggest ...?
Thanks 🙏🏻

First in my family to go to college, parent is abusive so I have no safety net & had no help. Worked full time all through college & still graduated with 30k in debt. I’ve been paying really aggressively on my private loans since the federal pause and I checked today and I now only owe 2800 in private. Pretty sure I owe 11k in fed & I qualify for the 10k. Honestly trying not to cry from sheer relief.

hi all, currently have two offers:

1: EY - FDD, home city, very good $$ for FDD

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

Thanks in advance!
